Report Spain Level 1-2-3 Classes

Dear Masters,

We want to thank you, that you have let Instructors Quang and Tin came to Spain one more year, this time to teach us the 1,2 and 3rd level and, to help us out in all what they could. We are very happy to have had them here, although they have visited us for just a few days and most of them, we were working during the weekday the course was held, so the time we have left to spend quality time with them, was quite short, still, we have squeezed each second and have had a great oportunity to learn from them and with them. As always, we are astonished of how much work they can cope with (as they are non-stop for the whole day) and how they managed to look always calm, patient and happy. It is a pleasure for us to welcome them, as well as to welcome their companions Catherine and Mai, they all have been of a great help to us. When they leave, we feel reinforced and looking forward to be like them. One of the messages they have left very clear this year is that we must meditate more, and I ensure you that we all got the message!. My daughter is now 2nd level and is currently studying 400 kms away from home, she came on the weekend when the classes were being taught, and since then, she told me she has started to meditate 1h per day instead of the 30min she used to meditate, now she claims to feels better, this is just a part I wanted to share with you (mother´s love!)

We have read the letter than Quang and Tin has sent you about the classes in Spain, we agree with them on terms that everything went pretty well, thanks to the cooperation everyone was willing to give and specially to Irene´s interpretation, although I believe Quang and Tin have been very kin, generous and benevolents with us. We do try to improve and get better day by day, following the paths our Masters and Instructors have walked before us, but we still have lot of work ahead of us!

The truth is, we have move ahead a little bit, because each time we have more patients in both Centers, and also more people show interest in UHBE. We are currently opening the Center in Castellón (the 2nd one in Spain), 4 days per week and the one in Benicassim (the 1st one we oppened) 3 days per week and each time, we have more people to treat to.

To open de Center in Castellón has been a good thing for all of us, the pity is that now we don´t see as often the pals from Benicassim ¡we are all too busy!, but we keep growing and, even though the new Center in Castellón is bigger than the 1st one in Benicassim, is looks like it is already small (due to the amount of people that come to get treatment), we are lucky that the owners of the place we rented to open the Center, have became our friends and come every so often to get treatment, they have freely let us use the space next door without any payment in return. We feel Grand Master Dasira Narada, is helping us out all the time and that thanks to that, things go with the flow. For instance, we decided to pay the trip for Yazmin, the colombian girl who got treatment in Benicassim, she was very interested on learning the technic and knowing more about the teaching, she is working in Bogotá, with the woman and children victims of violence. In order to get her papers (VISA) to get into Spain, she was asked a document that proved she was invited to come to Spain, that doc needed to be done by the spanish police, when I went to ask for it, they told me it will take 3 weeks, I thought we wouldn´t make it because she was going to take her flight in just 2 weeks! On top of that, the spanish police´s document had to be sent to Colombia by post (the original doc), I sent her an email, telling her that if Dasira Narada does not help us, and we don´t make it on time, we would lose the money for the flight. 3 day after, the Spanish police called me to ask me to pick the documents up, as the officer on charge to do them, was going on 2 weeks holidays, and wanted to leave with the job done…

Lots of students from the last course, are now coming to the Center, one of them is a doctor, a traumatologist from the main Hospital in our city, she has join the group and that makes that her husband (he is doctor too) and some co-workers, receive treatment from her getting to the point that now, they all show interest to know about the teaching. This is something amazing for us and in our culture, something in changing! One of our mattes (from level 3), our dear Tina, is now suffering of a liver´s cancer and is visiting a doctor in Barcelona, a specialist in oncology, this doctor is amazed of how Tina reacts, though the gravity of her illness and her suffering, that has make the doctor show interest for the teaching, she has show interest on taking the next coming course level 1 and 2 we will have she has said that, many of her patients will also take the course. We are still months away from that but, who knows? Maybe this is the path to be open, as we all wanted, a Center to be open in Barcelona, the 2nd biggest city in the country. In any case, I believe things will happen when we are all ready for them to happen.

We want to deeply thank you for the figures of Gran Master Dasira Narada, we gave them to Miguel Angel and Mary in Benicassim, as well as to Paquita and Encarna in Castellón for their dedication to the Centers and they loved to the teaching. Please, do not worry about those who do not have the figure, we do understand how hard it to get them and for us, that means no problem at all.

In another aspect, something that is worring some of us is that all communications and pictures (videos, photographs, personal letters like this, etc..) Are published openly in UHBE Web. This could create a problem, as well as prevent us write frankly, knowing that anyone from within and outside the theachin can read our communications. I think before posting a letter, for example, was not written for that purpose, we should ask permission. In the past course of 1 and 2, wr put signs in the center, warning the new students who may be recorded and photographed, and that they could refuse it. Spanish law prohibits the publication of images without the consent of the people

Something else that we have, regarding the legal point of view, is that we have found , from last May, a new association for the Center in Benicassim. This way, we are now officially 2 Centers UHBE, independent one from the other. We believe that it was the best to avoid echonomical problems that, unfortunatelly, are the cause of many disagreements. In short, we will vote the new board for the Center in Castellón, we will of course, keep you update.

We want you to know that for us, it will be a great honour, to have you here next year, it will make us really happy! We beg you to think about coming to Spain.
